The Queen flung herself out of a Buckingham Palace window in a BBC What Not To Wear Royal Special when beanpole fashion gurus Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine told her to take off "the tiara".
Her Majesty dressed in full Royal regalia for the fashion conscious pair for a BBC TV special which will be shown one Friday night when no one is watching.
A trailer for the series showed that the monarch had abruptly halted the programme when she was asked to remove "the glass and tin".
Scenes of the Queen clashing over the request were followed by footage of the Queen charging down a corridor and telling her lady-in-waiting:
"I'm not changing anything. I've had enough dressing like this, thank you very much."
The Queen was dressed in full Royal garb including cape, crown, and wig.
In the footage, the Queen walks into a room in Buckingham Palace, cluttered with camera equipment, wearing her crown and robes.
Trinny tells her: "I think it will look better without the crown because the garter robe is so..."
Before the pair can finish saying "naff", the Queen goes ballistic and shouts: "Less dressy? What do you think this is?", pointing to her shiny hat.
The trailer then shows the Queen jumping out of a window with an official trying to drag her back by grabbing the large train of her blue velvet cape.
A BBC spokesman said the programme showed the Queen in a new light.
