A bogus plumber has exposed TV's House of Horrors. Eric Forthright, a Yorkshire Trading Standards Officer has revealed a catalogue of deception by television's House of Horrors programme.

After placing a fake advert in Yellow Pages he was called to the show's innocent looking semi-detached house in Surrey on the pretext of a faulty washing machine.

Armed with a covert camera and recording equipment he found absolutely nothing wrong with the machine and that the plug had purposely been pulled out.

"This would easily have been enough to fox a genuine plumber" said Forthright.

On another occasion he was called back to attend to a leaky tap, which he found to have simply been left running.

"Horrors at the House of Horrors" is being screened tonight at 9 PM on Channel 4.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
