Former choirmaster Peter Halliday is due to be sentence today for molesting boys during the 80's.
One of his former victims said "When your first sexual experience is a 40-year-old man forcing himself on you it's pretty horrific" An ordeal Billy Piper knows only too well.
A spokesman for the church said "We are disappointed by what has emerged but we don't want people to get the idea that this sort of thing goes on regularly in church" he added "It's usually on a Sunday"
When asked what safe guards the church will be putting in place to prevent any reoccurrences, the Archbishop of Durham said "We will be doing a lot of praying" Right, well that ought to do it then.
The Archbishop went on to say "These things do occur from time-to-time but are very rare. They should not reflect badly on the good name of the Christian church. After all apart from stealing the ancient festivals of people of Europe because we don't have any of our own, and demonising Pagans, and starting religious wars in the middle ages, and being sexist and homophobic. The church has a lot to offer the community" When asked what that might be the Archbishop refused to comment waving his bible in the air and heading off in the general direction of soho.
