Jason Johnson, a recent divorcee too old for nightclubs, has revealed his regret that there is just not enough Josh Widdicombe on television these days.
Josh, famed for his comedy appearances on panel shows, and his serious look at the worlds of Morris Dancing and Church Bell Ringing is seen as the natural heir to television tough man Ross Kemp. However, his accent, and never particularly funny appearance in his own sit-com, Josh where he was routinely out-acted by a sofa mean that he is not everybody's cup of tea.
Johnson told us: 'I may be too old for the nightclubs, but if I leave now I can be back home for the Last Leg. It is award winning Television, you know?'
