Former Beatle and present rock god Sir Paul McCartney, who confessed that he often talked to the late John Lennon to get song ideas, gave half of the royalties on those songs that John helped with to John's widow Yoko Ono.
"It's just a gesture of holiday spirit," Sir Paul was quoted as saying.
"She'd only sue him for it anyways," spoke Julian Lennon, not-in-the-will son of John Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia.
Sir Paul's good spirits were in no way related to the bad press his ex-wife Heather Mills recently got.
"I wish Heather all the best!" spoke Sir Paul, as he watched a tape of his ex-wife being busted for illegal equipment. "Play it again!" he shouted.
"We've worn out that DVD, we'll have to get another!" laughed his castle lackey Dave.
