In seriously shocking news, ex British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has revealed, during an internet chat room conversation, that he entered politics with one intention only: to set up a quasi-fascist state with him as all powerful ruler. He even admitted that if the Monarchy fell then that was a natural consequence of events.
Brown would not deny that he thought about encouraging members of the National Front to join his cause.
Mr Brown refused to take phone calls late yesterday (he was out trout fishing) but his secretary issued a statement reading "Gordon is a nice man. That's why I like him. He's very, very nice."
Labour MPs are confused and dismayed at the revelation.
