London, England. In devastatingly dramatic news, Equadoran military forces have invaded British shores near Dover and Brighton following the failure of United Kingdom leaders to compromise on the issue of independent embassies and their legitimate existence. Equador issued a statement to say that "unfortunately, because of Britain's intransigencies, our defence forces have taken extreme action to restore pride in our flag and country."
It is believed that the first signs of invasion were detected by a stray golden retriever that barked as the landing barges carrying Equadoran troops arrived at night on the beach near Brighton Pier. Soldiers clad in darkened coats comfortably took over the local pub and then the off licence nearby.
The first Brit to realise what was happening was Mrs Doris Wolverstone who heard knocking on her day and answered it to find a strange soldier asking directions to "10 Downing Street". "Well, I was shocked and a little horrified" she cried.
The next wave of Equadoran troops are believed to be on their way from the north, having come ashore at John O'Groats. All boy scouts are asked to be on their guard.
