Rapist of the year, Barry Trifle, was stripped of his award yesterday by the P.R.A (Professional Rapists Association) after it emerged he wasn't a rapist at all.
When asked what he thought of the decision Mr. Trifle commented, "Its a bloody disgrace! I've worked my arse off to win this award and now they take it away. Worst of all they have the gall to accuse me of not being a rapist at all. I'm appalled." He continued, "I shall be working even harder next year. I'll show the P.R.A. Just you wait."
The Professional Rapists Association released a statement read by their spokeswoman Teresa McHunt. It read:
"Mr. Trifle's claim that he is a rapist are spurious at best. After a thorough investigation, following a tip off, we discovered that the evidence Mr. Trifle had provided to support his claim to be 'Rapist of the Year' was completely without foundation. We have found this behaviour totally unacceptable and rightly withdrew the award. Furthermore, Mr. Trifle has besmirched the good name of the other entrants. Mr. Trifle is free to enter the 2012 'Rapist of the Year' race, but he will face stiff competition as there are many excellent professional rapists out there at the moment."
