Reigning Formula 1 World Championship holder Michael Schumacher, has been finding it hard to adjust to life after the end of the current season.
He has recently been spotted in his home town of Kerpen, "Racing" his shopping trolley at the local supermarket.
Eye witness, Helga Oppenheimer, 51, was on the scene:
"It was amazing! I went to get his autograph, but he cut me up at the first corner, past the baked beans. When I next saw him, he was sweeping past a couple more trolleys before ploughing into the bags of flour. When he emerged he dusted himself off and started stopping people to ask where the 'Pits' were".
When questioned as to whether the strain of the recent title battle was affecting Michael's state of mind, his press office was unavailable for comment.
