The great Loch Ness Monster has been spotted miles from home on the River Thames in London. It's been a few years since the monster has been seen in Scotland and the sighting in London could prove the reason why.
The sighting of the famous monster happened in Chiswick in the early hours of last weekend.
Janet Finchley had been out with friends and was walking by the Thames when she saw it, "We were on a hen night and going to the fourth or fifth pub of the evening. My cousins Jackie and Annie came down from Scotland for the party. They were talking when all of a sudden the lights from a boat showed the monster. It must have been their accents that brought it to the top!"
Bill Barmy who works for the rivers authorities confirmed, "There are a number of underground rivers so it's possible the monster could be in London but then again it could just be seaweed."
