Monday's NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants is a must win for the Cowboys. So why is Tony Romo thinking about skipping the game? Was he injured in last weekend's action against the Minnesota Vikings?
Brad Hampton, a spokesman for the Dallas Cowboys says they are leaving it up to Romo.
Was he injured?
"Oh, he was roughed up on a few plays and no one likes playing the New York Giants with Osi Umenyiora (eight sacks), former Cowboy Chris Canty and Justin Tuck coming on a blitz all day, but it's with his mental attitude that we are concerned."
Apparently, according to players and coaches, Romo thinks he's a jinks.
"He said that his ancestry came from Romania and that kind of stuff has been with them for years."
When asked personally, after Romo came by and stated that he would like to speak for himself, he stated that someone had place a family curse on him or something.
"There may be someone they send to each game who has the Evil Eye!"
But how does he know this?
"Look at the games! We have outplayed every single team we have faced this year and lost 4 out of 5 games! How do you explain that?"
Romo also pointed out how some freak plays have come out of nowhere to keep them out of the Super Bowl year after year.
So tune in Monday night. The may be a back-up quarterback in there for Dallas!
