At the end of the BCS National Championship Game in which Alabama defeated Texas 37-21, Alabama coach Nick Saban's white polo was completely doused with Gatorade.

Despite the fact that every game ends with a shower of Gatorade, Nick Saban is furious with his players stating that "The kids don't care anymore. I thought they could handle themselves. But when they wreck your favorite Ralph Lauren Polo you begin to question your judgment of them".

"I didn't think we did anything wrong, I mean we were so caught up in the moment. We won the title, the game. I never thought are celebration would cause such chaos" said Alabama running back Mark Ingram.

Despite the best efforts of Saban's wife Terry, in the laundry room the white polo just couldn't be saved. "It is a tough loss for the entire Football community. I know how much the shirt meant to Saban" stated Alabama Quarter back Greg McElroy.

Coach Saban has not yet said what will happen to the players who poured the Gatorade over him, but that they can expect it to be "Intense and Intimidating".

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
