Actor, Daniel Radcliffe is representing Great Britain in the Beijing Olympics later this week. Since appearing in a play, 'Equus' where he appeared as a nude stableboy, Radcliffe, was chased by hundred of teenage fans and found a new challenge. The 21 year-old has decided to quit ' horsing' around and take up running instead. He has already taken part in six half marathons and 2 complete marathons.
'Radders' also won a bronze medal for show-jumping earlier this week for team GB with three clear rounds. He told In Seine News;
"My time in the stables has given me a real working knowledge of how horses work and what can make them clear hurdles and so when I tried running the course, nude of course, I found it quite natural to clear the fences without catching my 'knackers' on the top rail."
He continued;
"I am really excited to run for my country and I feel fighting fit despite breaking my big toenail this morning. I hope to bring in a gold medal this time (to go next to my Oscars). I aim to win and even if I don't, I can always return to acting."
His Auntie, Paula Radcliffe, who is also fit at 34 years-old will be competing in the same race.
