After Shaquille O'Neal's racy rap that called out former teammate Kobe Bryant, his special deputy badge was taken away from him by the Maricopa County Sheriff. This enraged many people because they thought Shaq was just being funny and didn't deserved to be punished. The real issue is that Maricopa County Police Department is unprotecting the people by taking Shaq off the streets.
For years Shaq has been stopping online predators and other unsafties. Do we really want criminals and pedifiles to know that a Shaq is not a threat anymore? No, that is a step backwards.
Shaq was been an advocate for justice for his entire career and stopping him from doing this is a good way to get him angry, and who wants to stand in his way when he's angry? He is like a real life Hulk who wants to stop the bad guys. If we take away Shaq's badge then he will be a rouge cop and that will cause bad blood.
The Maricopa County Police Department should put aside the fact that they are secret Lakers fans, and just give Shaq his badge back. He was just being funny and Kobe needed and ego check, so protect our streets again with Shaq on the force.
