In a presss conference today Roger Federer, tennis number one, has admitted asking David Beckham for advice over his image following the current debate about whether the tennis star is handsome or not.
"David was extremely helpful"Federer said"And it was nice to chat to someone who understands my plight. He gave me some very useful pointers and I will be putting them into practice over the next few weeks."
Asked for an indication about the type of thing we, the gossip hungry public of the world, can expect Roger continued: "The two main things he said I needed to do were to find a high profile celebrity wife and to get a nickname. The first one is easy, we all know Maria Sharapova has the hots for me. The second one......."
There was a pause and the tennis player looked at the assembled journalists, stood up and spread his hands out. "As of now I am not to be known as Roger Federer. Henceforth I am Fedz. Fedz is the name, tennis is the game. I am working on that epithet - but it will probably have something to to do with sex and being handsome."
