BOSTON - Word out of Beantown is that now that the coach and most of the star players have been traded or have left for greener pastures, the Celtics ownership is thinking about leaving the city of Boston.
According to Woody Velcro with The Sports Bet Gazette not only does the Boston organization want to rebuild with a bunch of new players, but they are thinking about doing it in another city; Cincinnati.
Velcro spoke with several Celtics fans who said that they do not like the idea one bit but they understand the reasoning behind the move.
With the Celtics it is all about saving money and word is that the Cincinnati City Council has told the Celtics organization that they will waive all team taxes for 13 years if the team relocates to the Ohio city.
Reports are that several Cincinnati print shops are already planning on printing bumper stickers emblazoned with the words Cincinnati - Home of The Cincinnati Celtics.
The Sports Bet Gazette will stay with the story and bring you any further developments as they develop.
