New York Jets flop quarterback Tim Tebow is to switch sports and try his hand at Pitching for the Boston Red Sox.
The Red Sox have faced years of mediocre pitching from disasters like Daisuke Matsuzaka to a bullpen that last season gave up more runs than any other in the big leagues. It is thought that Tebow's erratic throwing action will fit right in with the Red Sox philosophy.
Boston writer Justin Rutter said "I think it is a good move. He can throw a foot ball so he should be able to throw a baseball. Plus he is a clean living guy. The Sox were embroiled with a drinking scandal last year that clouded their entire year but Tim is teetotal. He has also spoken out against PEDs on many occasions. Boston have had more than their fair share of doping issues."
In a statement Tim Tebow said "I will spend my time learning the game and I expect to lead Boston to their first Superbowl since Babe Ruth left to join the Giants."
Although he still has a lot to learn about Baseball he is probably better than most of the pitchers that John Farrell has available.
