Despite Being Released on a Free Transfer Louis Saha Still Turns up For Training

Funny story written by El Presidente

Former Manchester United, Fulham and Everon striker Louis Saha who was released by Tottenham at the end of the season after just five months still turns up at Tottenham's training ground, wearing his Spurs top and carrying his own ball.

The 33-year-old who was a target for West Ham earlier this summer watches from the side lines and collects balls that have gone astray. He can often be seen dribbling and doing "keepie upies" on his own.

"It is very very sad" said former teammate Gareth Bale "He just turns up, dressed in his kit and kind of just does his own thing. It is like he wants to join in when we play 5 a side and things like that. It is very sad to see. It is kind of like he cannot let go, it seems he hasn't grasped he won't be playing for us next season."

Harry Redknapp's purchase of Saha seemed curious at the time; while Everton signed Nikica Jelavic and Newcastle went for Papiss Cisse, Spurs picked up the Frenchman on a free transfer, with a massive sign on fee for Saha built in to the deal.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
