American tennis fans are up in arms, some furious even, after England was once again chosen to host this year's Wimbledon tennis tournament the 80th time in a row that London has been selected to host the tournament, some calling the decision...shameful.
"It reeks of nepotism to me" tweeted one very upset American fan, but it isn't only American's who are getting upset about the UK's constant selection as the location of the World's most prestigious tennis competition, angry fans from Argentina, France, Australia and Uzbekistan are causing somewhat of a racket.
One woman wrote "Could you imagine if every four years the Olympics was hosted in Barcelona? I mean all the time, it was always Spain who got the Olympics? People would be up in arms, as we say in Australia, it is a complete load of balls........and of course nets, racquets and skimpy shorts and skirts and large women grunting."
Many are asking that maybe the World's Tennis authorities take the same stance as FIFA who move the Soccer World Cup through different continents every four years.
Azzumbai Kimabaya Obama, a Kenyan tennis fan said "I dream of the day when maybe an African nation gets to host Wimbledon, who knows, maybe even Kenya, it just seems a little odd to me, that the English always seem to get to host Wimbledon, year after year......and it always rains!"
