Lorient of French Ligue 1 have initiated talks to sign Carlos Tevez after talks with Paris Saint-Germain broke down.
An insider at the French Ligue one club told the spoof "We don't have the money to pay his transfer fee or wages but we didn't want to be the only club in europe not linked with the pug face or in talks with his agent".
Agent Kia Joorabchian was recently in France to meet with Paris Saint-Germain director of football Leonardo. Lorient is 500km from Paris.
The source continued "When we heard the talks fell through and PSG pulled out of a deal, we thought we'd add our name to the list of teams after him. Of course we don't expect they will have heard of us or want to join us, but the publicity might put 250 on the gate for saturdays game".
Leyton Orient chairman Harry Bearn said "For once this is not a publicity stunt by me, just a team with a similar name to the one I own".
