A man in his early 60s is said to have finally died after being tortured for weeks by a dreadful whooping cough. The cough which began as an overlooked sniffle soon showed its true intentions after a few weeks family members say.
After a few weeks, the cough began to give the deceased more of a 'whoopin', reducing him to uncontrallable fits, each with five to ten forceful coughs, followed by a high pitched 'whoop' sound. Neighbours also report hearing the cracking of a whip everytime the deceased coughed.
During his last days, the deceased is said to have been a shell of his former self, seldom playing games, and always looking over his shoulder - anticipating the next dreadful 'whoopin' from the cough.
Officials say that this has been the latest in a string of attacks by the 'whooping cough'. Now that its latest victim is dead, officials say the cough will be looking for a new suitor. Bewarned.
