Reagan's vegetable ketchup becomes Bush entree in school lunches

In the hard times in the Reagan years, ketchup was named a vegetable in public school lunchrooms by Republican appointed nutritionists. In the age of childhood obesity, schools have been moving to healthier lunches and nutritious breakfast programs in their fight against the dangers of the fast food nation.

The Bush recession however has brought hard times upon all Americans. Not only the deserving 51% pitiful fools who actually voted for the double-dope twice but even the innocent 49% who knew a single dope would have made a better president.

US public school lunch rooms have felt the brunt of the Bush economic collapse and the Bush nutritionists have taken the Reagan disgrace a step further.

Under the Bush plan, school lunch programs can now count ketchup as the main entree. Delicacies like the meatless ketchup burger and the ketchup surprise free from freedom fries are showing up on school menus across America.

One NYC school serves the Midnight Cowboy ketchup and hot water bisque in a tribute to the desperate meal of homeless Joe Buck in the classic 60's film masterpiece.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
