Martin's dental x-ray: It all started with this

For years it was thought that young Martin Popplelop was a gifted genius. At the age of four he had an IQ of 175 and by six this had increased to 194.

However due to a series of events it has become apparent that he is in fact a two-headed being from another dimension and in fact he is regarded as quite dim in his home world of Thargamp.

Professor Pat Pending told The Spoof:

"Martin was in his local dental surgery being given a routine x-ray as part of a six monthly check-up when the startling facts came to light"

Dental nurse, Marilyn Monroe, takes up the story:

"We took Martin's x-ray picture and asked him to wait while we checked the photo. Well when I looked I could hardly believe what I was seeing. He had two heads!"

Professor pending Says:

"Amazingly he has a normal head as most humans do but in addition, he also has a second smaller pan-dimensional head that can't be seen with the naked eye and as it's from another dimension, then it technically does not actually exist as far as we are concerned. But it's there!

For some strange reason when the x-ray was taken the second head was between dimensions and it just showed up"

Extensive tests since have proven inconclusive and the second head cannot be found but Pending is sticking to his story. We asked him if perhaps the second head could maybe be just as a result of a corrupted negative and that in fact Martin is a normal boy.

"No way! The camera never lies and anyhow the King of Thargamp has confirmed that it is all true" insisted the boffin, with something of a mad gleam in his eye.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
