It's Earth Day again, and people are trying to find novel and exciting uses for that boring grey substance that surrounds us - earth, which is also called soil.
At Chaffinch St Cock, a gigantic Earth Parade was held to celebrate earth through the ages, from the first compost heap to the most recent compost heap. It was basically a parade of compost heaps.
In Tokyo, a robot gave a speech about how he hoped one day all the earth would disappear and that the world would be concreted. It was not perhaps the most inspiring speech, but the crowd loved it.
Meanwhile, astronauts on the space station did experiments to see what happens to earth in zero gravity. Apparently it floats.
