Make Bradford British

Racism is alive and well and festering in the heart of Bradford or is it?

The Boy and Barrel is a pub in the heart of Bradford. We witnessed a sickening barrage of insults aimed at wonderful young Muslim woman Sabbiyah who made her case as a British citizen and rightly so. However was this racism or was the fat headed, beer swilling buffoon telling her to wear a mini skirt just an idiot.

Despite the calls from Mr Greenwood (Chairman of Bradford Council) that the programme was a travesty. We saw the main participants in the experiment change their views on different cultures. The programme was clearly a success and demonstrated that if you do something to get communities to interact attitudes can change and people will get on.

So what we saw in the Boy and Barrel wasn't premeditated racism but a disappointing display of monumental stupidity by the fat beer man and the demented hag telling Sabbiyah "she's not one of us" simply because she didn't dress like a typical English woman. The two thick headed clowns hurling insults at Sabbiyah are unfortunately the reality that there is an endemic lack of understanding about different cultures, not just in Bradford but right across Britain.

What would be tragic is that this successful experiment has sharply highlighted the problem but we've already witness the denial from politicians like Councillor Greenwood that its not really happening and it's just sensationalism by Channel 4.

For the people of Bradford, they know its happening but will we hear an apology from Councillor Greenwood and will he actually do anything positive?

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
