Language is in a constant state of flux
What was common 500 years ago will now get you some funny looks
This has been the subject of a great many books
Discussing how they made a verb out of a word like ducks
But for these tomes, they'll charge you fifty bucks
And this piece is free, but not as comprehensive
We can use words to shine light into tiny nooks
And scare away some metaphorical rooks
There's no limit to how many fit into the back of trucks
And there's no way to dress them up in a tux
There's no reason to keep them tied up in books
But it's handy, especially if you want to go on the offensive
Some people get offended, but here's the crux
What some people consider in language to be mucks
Such as words like shits, arses, tits and fucks
Are offending in context, such as the word sucks
Or putting the word Clan at the end of Klu Klux
But generally, these words are pretty innocuous
If you thought this would import wisdom, then shucks
I am afraid that all you readers are out of lucks
But before you get into rucks
Over the overuse of ux
Into this I chucks
Well get over it, this is the Spoof, not James Joyce
