LONDON - Oprah Winfrey the richest woman in the United States was recently invited by Queen Elizabeth to attend a dinner at Buckingham Palace in honor of legendary rhythm and blues artist Smokey Robinson, lead singer with one of Motown's greatest groups Smokey Robinson and The Miracles.

The music legend who was born William Robinson, Jr., in Detroit has been performing for 55 years. And in that time he has had such great hits as "The Tears Of A Clown," "The Tracks Of My Tears," "I Slipped On My Tears When The Beatch Broke My Heart," and "I Still Remember The Day Back In 1962 When The Love Of My Life Cried Tears Of Joy All Over My Fried Chicken Dinner."

Winfrey, first met Robinson at a Chicago Bulls - Los Angeles Lakers basketball game in Chicago in which the 'Left Coasters' got blown out 119-71. After the game Oprah and Smokey had dinner at a KFC and discussed the fact that Smokey has a higher singing voice than any singer in the history of Motown, male or female.

Smokey also touched a little bit on the fact that Oprah's "Yo-Yo" diet wasn't really working worth a damn.

Both laughed and agree to behave and enjoy their Eight Wings Meal Deal.

While at Buckingham Palace the two were given a tour of the place by Queen Elizabeth Windsor and her husband Prince Philip Mountbatten. Smokey said that he especially enjoyed seeing the Sir Winston Churchill Smoking Room which still smelled highly of cigars.

Winfrey giggled and said that she enjoyed the kitchen and she quickly told Smokey not make any food jokes, weight jokes, or chicken jokes.

While sitting in the kitchen having some mince pie and tea Oprah turned to the Queen and offered to buy Buckingham Palace at the fair market price.

The queen was so shocked that she literally fainted. Luckily for her Smokey was able to catch her before her crown hit the 16 century imported Norwegian Wood floor.

The Queen was quickly led away by her private nurse, Miss Mildred and ended up missing the dinner.

'Tickety Boo News' which covered the Buckingham Palace gala will stay abreast of the story and bring forth any further developing developments should they develop.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
