It's been almost a year since Susan Boyle released her debut album, "I Dreamed a Dream." Susan is about to give the world her new album, "The Gift."
The Scottish singer gave us a preview of the album with a performance of Crowded House's, "Don't Dream It's Over" on the Oprah Show this week.
Singing with a very big choir, (were they supposed to be angels?), Susan's performance was understated. The angels were not needed. She could bring so much to this song if she sang solo. Once again, TV demands an over produced, over the top performance from Susan. It's not a song about religion, Oprah!
Susan appeared comfortable, which is one big plus and Oprah gave her a wonderful welcome. As did her many fans who filled that studio to overflowing. With a new friend like Oprah, Susan is in good hands.
Although Susan has only sung in public a few times this year, her fans gave her their usual enthusiastic endorsement.
It looks like another number one big seller for Susan.
