Add a lovely salad to this and you have the meal served at 'The Angel' at Whitby.,,,.

This is definitely serious shit for any of you planning on visiting Whitby.

Most 'readers' know me by now and I do not take the 'S-word' lightly.....I mean 'SERIOUS'...

If you are planning a visit to the wonderful seaside town of Whitby DO NOT GO THERE AFTER 11 a.m.

Trust me! We tried it. Even WITH a 'blue disabled' card belonging to my mam (who WAS with us by the way) we could NOT find a parking spot.

We went back (without mother) 2 days later, and arrived in Whitby just after 9 a.m.

WONDERFUL! We drove around EMPTY parking lots just for the bloody fun of it. Abso-bloody-lutely-amazing.

We bought sticks of rock and 'little willies' without having to stand in line.

My dog! It was freaking brilliant!

What is point of this article you may be asking yourself, IF you have bothered to read this far - WELL the point IS...if you ARE planning on visiting Whitby.....go there before 9 a.m.

Dear 'Lynton' loves his fish and chips from 'The Magpie'...but....lovely as he seems to be....don't go there.
Their fish-n-chips are way too expensive..sorry Lynton....
Head for The Angel....a pub not too far down from The Magpie...Fantastic fish 'n' chips at half the price....great service too.

Sorry Lynton....but The Angel in Whitby gets 5 thumbs up from me AND from Mr. ME (who is VERY difficult to please!)
