The Letters of Wilf Turnbull

Funny story written by Wilf Turnbull

Friday, 20 November 2009

Hello all!

As my fellow 'PC Pensioner' Alfred Frimley has already very kindly told you, I am a 73 years young "silver surfer" from Southbourne, Bournemouth. I write to pop stars about their hits because they often require clarification, advice or congratulation. My correspondence is filed in a virtual cabinet at www.wilfturnbull.co.uk.

I only put my "site" on the whole world window web in October but have already had 5000 "hits". Do have a look!

You can also add me as a "Face Book" friend through my "site" and make an old duffer very happy! I use the popular networking window screen to talk to my friends about all sorts, including new letters. You will see that I have over 500 friends, some from the TV and comedy worlds, who for some reason find me amusing. I have had my letters featured on regional radio stations and by a man on the bus.

I think it's about time that pop-stars' lyrics are examined in depth and Bournemouth given a "big up" on the interweb.

Be lovely to hesar from you. Bye to Alf too, thanks again!
