At a charity event in Barcelona Harry Potter author JK Rowling admitted yesterday to have had help while writing her bestselling books on the little, by now quite hairy and grown up, magician. Amid screaming fans, many of whom adults dressed in silly ways, the author revealed all.
I now have the exclusive transcript of her interview with Spain's main television hunk Juan Carlos Rodriguez of broadcaster TeleviƧioƱ.
JCR: Hello miss Rowlink, you happy about new film?
JKR: Very happy Juan Carlos, thank you
JCR: I wish to give you many compliments for your dress
JKR: Thank you, that's ever so kind.
JCR: I read you write Harry Potter in cafe?
JKR: Yes. I had a lovely little pub just around the corner from my apartment. I like the constant murmur of people around. I would sit down with my notebook, have a cup of tea and then I heard Satan.
JCR: Que?
JKR: Normally in my left ear.
JCR: Satan?
JKR: Yes, it was quite concrete. I would drink my tea, write a bit about magic walls and teenage angst, and then He would do the rest. His deep voice would tell me the whole story really. I could add some details, give it some storyline. He's more of the gory details and the outrageous magic.
JCR: Satan. From hell? He talk to you?
JKR: Well, its wasn't exactly talking. I mean, I never really said anything back, that would be weird, I was in a pub. He suggested things, and i wrote them out. It was cooperation rather than conversation. Got to go now, my taxi's here. Bye!
