A new book called 'Gaellic Giggles' will hit bargain bins around Britain today. Author Fergus O'Doonican O'O'7 has written 100 pieces of semi-humorous spoof news articles chronicling the fall and rise of the horse-infested home of Guinness and Gerry Adams.
The book also doubles up as a handy doorstop for a barn.
Bono, The Corrs, Jamesons whisky and wife beating are amongst the national institutions that fall prey to sharp witted wordsmith (and part time blacksmith) O'Doonican. Critics have hailed the hefty lump of literature as a triumph of literacy in the face of illiterate adversity.
