Sugababes have reportedly been forced to perform as a duo for their Wembley Stadium gigs after Nadine Coyle has been ruled out on medical grounds.
According to sources close to the group, Coyle has been ordered to not speak for at least 24 hours due to a severe throat infection if she wants to perform at the two events on the 28th and 29th of this month.
"Nadine is really worried. These shows are the biggest in the history of the group and if she can't perform then they are in trouble. The shows at Anfield in Liverpool were shorter than planned but she is in so much pain when she speaks that doctors have advised her to be silent for at least 24 hours if she wants to perform but they don't advise her to perform even then."
The group, consisting of Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Coyle, are currently on their fourth tour since 2009 which is said to be the reason for the issues with Coyle's voice.
"Nadine and Sarah have the hardest lines to sing and now that Sarah isn't there and Nadine has taken over them, her voice is really straining under the pressure. They have toured so much in such a short time that it is taking it's toll on all of the girls. Their feet are in tatters because of the big dance routines. Nadine has told Cheryl and Nicola to go on but they would have to completely change their choreography to fit there only being two people on stage."
The 'Headlines! Tour' will end on May 14th at Celtic Football Club's Celtic Park in Glasgow.
