Singer, actor Miley Ray Cyrus has admitted that she was actually born in jail.
"It wasn't like what you think", she explained in teen terms.
The story had been buzzing around Nashville for several years and so Miley decided to finally open up on the whole subject.
She told a few invited reporters from a teen magazine that some of the rumors were true but she wanted to tell them the whole story.
Apparently, it was near Thanksgiving Day in 1992 and her dad had completed a set of songs for the night and had arrived home around One AM when suddenly Miley's mother went into labor.
"So back out the door we go and Mom said that dad was driving like crazy because he was in a hurry and was trying to stay awake. Then they heard a police siren and the cops pulled him over. In the storybooks, the cops escort you to the hospital with flashing lights to the delivery room."
Apparently that's not what happened.
"One of the cops had something against dad in a previous situation and so they escorted him and mom to the jail in Nashville. Of course, they were both upset and finally dad got into a fight with one of the officers and he was locked up and mom went into labor."
Miley told the reporters that they needed to talk with her mom for the first person view.
Meanwhile, after Miley had finished her story she had called an old friend, Joe Jonas and told him all that had happened. Since Miley had left right after the short message, we got the rest from him.
"Yeah Miley swore me to secrecy but now she has told you guys, I can tell you the 'rest of the story", Jonas laughed.
"Miley was born at the Nashville jail in the front room with medics there. They had rushed over from Vanderbilt. The police let Billy Ray out the next day with a fine and a court appearance scheduled."
Jonas stated that no one had told the story before, not because THEY cared, but a certain studio didn't want it released.
"So that was how Destiny Hope Cyrus, aka Miley Ray Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana got here. She used to laugh and tell me and my brothers that Johnny Cash was her real dad."
