HOLLYWOOD - Teen queen Miley Cyrus, of Hannah Montana fame, has decided to follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Ke$ha, and Gwyneth Paltrow and appear on the popular prime time 'dramedy' Glee.
Cyrus has stated that she is a big fan of the show and she always sings along with the cast when they are singing their musical numbers.
She did confess that there was one song that she did not sing along with because she absolutely cannot stand that song and it was a song by the Tokens called "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
Cyrus pointed out that the song made it all the way to number one on the Billboard Top 100 Chart back in 1961. She added that it became noted for repeating the same word a total of 64 times.
The word was 'Wimoweh' and it is a Swahili safari native word that means 'it's getting close to sundown boys so lets all be careful we don't step in lion shit.'
Miley explained that the reason she does not care for the song is because it reminds her of a field trip that her second grade class in Nashville took to the General Robert E. Lee African Animal Zoo in Chattanooga, Tennessee when she was seven.
She said that as her and her best friend Muffy Funderburk were standing near the lions cage watching two of the lions mating, one of the other lions suddenly lunged at the cage bars and Muffy and her ended up with lion spit all over their pink cotton candy, their school outfits, and their shocked-as-hell faces.
In the episode of Glee, Miley will be portraying Bambina Sylvester, the niece of the head coach of the cheerleading squad Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).
Bambina who lives in Brooklyn with her divorced mother who works as a pole dancer, visits her aunt Sue over the Easter holidays.
She goes to school with her on the following Monday and while walking in the hallway accidentally bumps into the star quarterback Finn Hudson played by Cory Monteith.
In the next scene we see Bambina and Finn beneath the football stadium bleachers. It's an overcast day and it is really hard to make out the two characters but if one looks real, real close the viewer will see that Bambina Sylvester is not wearing any clothes whatsoever or if she is, it's a nude full body stocking.
In other 'Glee' related news. The producers of the show are trying to book President and Mrs. Barack Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia to make a cameo appearance.
