Skoob Entertainment News supremo Buffty Ginslinger has just emailed a sensational breaking news story, describing how Oscar nominee and enigmatic street artist, Banksy, is to show up at the Oscars wearing a burkha.
Banksy, a Bristolian by nature, is well known for his insistence on anonymity, but the Oscars committee have informed him that he will not be allowed to enter the ceremony wearing any form of disguise.
Buffty reports from Hollywood that Banksy and his people have spent hours agonising over how the secretive artist can attend the ceremony, and possibly even bag an Acadamy Award whilst maintaining his precious anonymity.
Apparently, one bright spark shouted out:
"Wear a burkha Banksy! Tell 'em you have to wear a burkha on religious grounds! It's not a disguise! It's a religious requirement!"
To which the reclusive graffiti artist, Banksy himself, allegedly replied:
"By jove! I do believe that's a case of problem solved! Bally well done that man!"
Buffty insists that this years Oscars ceremony will have us talking for months.
"Expect the unexpected!" he warned.
