A spokesperson for the world famous Jedward twins has told us that they will be undergoing the first ever conjoint twin re-attachment operation early next week in London's Mint Imperial University Hospital.
The twins were originally conjoint but during X-factor 2009, Louis Walsh arranged for the twins to be separated as he was the mentor in charge of "groups" and not "solo" artists.
Performing rights lawyers explained that royalties would be greater if Jedwards were rejoined and their Manager, Mr Louis Walsh, explained that touring expenses (only needing one flight ticket etc.) would be reduced and profits increased.
Simon Cowell is watching this experiment closely and considering the same approach for JLS, Diversity and Girl' aloud.
The operation is due to last 12 hours and there is a 5% chance the twins will not recover
