LONDON - Louise Minchin is one of the happiest 42-year-old women on the British Isles. The BBC presenter and newsreader has just learned that her "Me Boobies Is Covered" T-Shirts are flying off the 'rack' and literally selling like hot cakes.
Minchin said that she was surprised to learn that the sales of her T-Shirt have even outsold the T-Shirts of noted English celebrities such as Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Wagner Carrilho, Kate Middleton, the all-girl band the Saturdays, and Manchester United's Chicharito.
The blonde pixie-haired Minchin told Brian Peacehaven, a reporter for The London Daily Hand-Held Mirror that she had no idea that back in April when Throckington St. Johnstone, the producer of The One Show told her to cover up her boobies before going on the air that the whole thing would cause such a (financially profitable) stir.
Louise stated that St. Johnstone made her put on a white T-Shirt underneath her blue dress in order to hide her infamous media boobs. She giggled and said that at first she refused but when she was told that she would be terminated she was only to glad to cover up the knockers in question.
Minchin giggled some more as she said that within 48 hours of the incident she had been approached by Mr. Lambrick Dagwell, publisher of the highly respected British mens magazine PlayGent, about posing for an 8-page spread for the publication.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: The issue in which Louise Minchin appeared outsold every other monthly issue in the magazine's history including editions that showcased Victoria Beckham of the Spice Girls, Nadine Coyle and Melanie Brown of Girls Aloud, Amanda Holden of Britain's Got Talent, and Danni Minogue of X-Factor.]
