LONDON - Len Goodman, the English judge on the U.S. reality dancing show Dancing With The Stars, has informed the BBC that he has convinced noted newsreader and presenter Louise Minchin to appear on the next season of the reality dancing show.

Minchin, who appears on the shows, BBC News At One, BBC Breakfast, and The One Show, replied that she is both thrilled and honored that Mr. Goodman would think so highly of her to think that she could do good on the show.

Goodman, who is known in the United States as the "Crotchety Grouch" assured Louise, who is 42, that she will do good. Len then added that fellow judge Bruno "The Gaytalian" Tonioli has also remarked that he really and truly feels that Minchin could be another Nicole Scherzinger or Jennifer Grey on the infamous DWTS dance floor.

Carrie Ann Inaba, the third judge remarked that she had never heard of Louise Minchin. Goodman was quick to add that it did not surprise him because it was only until this season of DWTS that Carrie Ann even knew who Bristol Palin or even her mother "Snowflake" Sarah was.

Bruno chimed in by adding that Inaba knows the names of all the famous people in the Philippines but when it comes to famous Americans or Britishers she knows about as much as North Korea's Kim Jong Il.

Goodman also stated that Minchin has language degrees in Spanish, Lithuanian, Mandarin Chinese, and Chippewa, which will certainly come in handy if she happens to visit the native Americans living in Michigan.

During her stay in America, Goodman has informed her that he has made arrangements for her to stay in the guest house of Derek "The Dancing Dude" Hough and his girlfriend, Englishwoman Cheryl Cole.

Minchin pointed out that she has heard all about Hough's mansion, Casa Cha Cha Cha, which is located high in the Hollywood Hills.

Louise added that she is really looking forward to visiting California and touring the Universal Motion Picture Studios, Grauman's Chinese Theater, the La Brea Tar Pits, and 604 pound Gabourey Sidibe.

SIDENOTE: Back in April of 2010, Louise Minchin caused quite a stir in what is now known as The Blue Dress Cleavage Incident. Len Goodman did state that her publicist Nigel Thornbutter, III, did an excellent job of putting a lid on what some believe could have been a major news industry scandal.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
