Whether the world is ready or not, the two stars have done their part and now it's up to the people who run the laboratory in Oakland, California.
Speaking for the Parenthood Nature Center, Dr. Alan Deweece told reporters this morning that Adam Lambert had did his part last week and that now Lady Gaga has gone through a much more complicated operation but wanted to see how 'the little guy' would turn out.
Lady Gaga also stated that the deal was that if everything went well, she would want to have the baby as her own.
Doctors and scientists say that she would be the most natural mother for the child because it basically came from her.
Moral and ethical concerns are high over the outcome, particularly as children being born through entirely artificial means, is leaving men and women sidelined from the process of making babies.
"The baby won't live here after is is 'Born' stated Deweece. "He/She will stay here and be checked over and then can be taken home by Lady Gaga as her own."
Apparently Adam Lambert was really anxious to do this also.
He told the West Coast Post that he will have visiting rights and that he and Lady Gaga have become great friends throughout the process.
However, the question remains: How will a baby from these two parents turn out?
"I think he/she will be very talented", stated Lambert. "Probably a Show-Off!"
