Determined X Factor scrapper Katie Waissel is set to shock the show's fans again with a fantastic revelation that she hopes will win her bigger votes.
She managed to pull off a major coup last weekend by revealing stories that she slept with fellow contestant Matt Cardle. Experts described the scheme as "a blinder."
The stunt seems to have won her a host of fans among viewers who voted to keep in the show.
But she plans to go one better before the TV talent contest's next stage.
She will claim to be the last remaining survivor of the Romanovs - the Russian royal family murdered at Ekaterinberg in 1918 by the Bolsheviks at the height of the Revolution.
A source from Katie's camp said: "Yup. She's the great grand-daughter of cousin of the Tsar who wasn't killed and managed to escape to the west.
"He laid low for a while and eventually carved out a career for himself in interior design. He never let on about his royal blood fearing it was too dangerous.
"Katie says she recently found some papers proving her lineage in a box of stuff in her mam's wardrobe.
"We're all very excited."
