According to sources at ABC, executives are considering considering changing the name of their hit TV program "Dancing With The Stars" to "Dancing With The Has-Been's And Wanna-Be's"
"Our attorneys have informed us that we may be facing a possible lawsuit for a violation of the truth in advertising laws" confirmed one executive producer. "With such performers this season as Bristol Palin, 'The Situation', and Florence Henderson, we have to admit we are pushing the envelope of the term 'Star'. This is 'reality television' after all, and we have to maintain some semblance of legitimacy."
Another executive flatly denied the rumor. "We will fight any attempt to force the branding of our stars as has-been's and wanna-Be's...He stated. "One man's garbage is another man's treasure...Bristol Palin may have the charisma of a mannequin, but her mom is a political superstar, and that makes her a star in my book...as the mom from 'The Brady Bunch', Florence Henderson is a national treasure....'The Situation' is...well-OK, there are always exceptions, but we will fight this rumored suit for false advertising....if necessary we could always get rid of 'The Situation' and replace him with someone with more star appeal...perhaps we could exhume the body of Michael Jackson-his corpse would be less stiff and wooden in a dancing routine."
