America's Sweetheart and Mother From Hades, Kate Gosselin, has been very vocal in expressing her desires to try her backhand at acting instead of her kids' heads. Says Kate: "My career goals? Believe it or not, I've discovered that I've done enough years of TV that I feel like it's a normal, natural, comfortable place. I would love to be in a movie at some point."
Soon afterward, Kate Gosselin was offered a role in adult film, "KATE DOES 8 (and more)". After much thought, Kate's agent turned down the role because it would require her character to dance.
Kate's rep added: "one of the most touching scenes in the movie is when the character terrorizes everybody on the dance floor with a non-rhythmical rendition of the "Cabbage Patch", done to the strains of Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy. My client is dance-challenged, so she's decided to go in a different direction, which is non-dancing, non-speaking acting roles. The offer was not a good fit for Kate. However, we're ready to look over any scripts that come our way."
When asked about the offer, Kate shrugged her shoulders and replied, "The salary was too low. I'm a celebrity now, so I'm waiting for something bigger, better, more suitable for my talents."
When asked about the impact an acting career would have on her kids, the mother of 8 looked surprised. "Kids? What kids? This is all about me. They were TV Stars for 6 years. Now it's my turn."
