Angela Lansbury is to star in an all new original remake of a television series originally made years before, which is set to take the TV ratings by storm again on both sides of the pond.
In accordance with new industry guidelines which state no television or motion picture production company may create anything new or original, Shit Pics Inc are to rehash Lansbury's most famous televisual vehicle, 'Murder, She Wrote'.
Pip Harpsburger, executive producer, says "we wanted Angela to reprise her role of Jessica Fletcher, the tawdry old busy-body, but we needed a modern twist."
"That's when we got the idea, 'Murder, She Emailed'," continued Larry Gutterbend, executive producer aswell, "Angela was over the moon."
The show is set to start on the Fox Network in a week, filming begins in two. When quizzed over the seemingly mismatched dates Gutterbend answers directly, "Hell! We just re-shot the opening titles and tagged them onto an old episode, you idiot! Do you think we're made of money?"
'Murder, She Emailed' has already got the green light for a movie spin off, although it may well be renamed in the UK as 'Murder, She Txtd' to try and keep hip with kids.
