Guests of Nadine Coyle's bar had to apologise to the star yesterday as she was mistaken for a grasshopper.
It is reported that the singer walked into the bar to sing on the microphone and guests soon thought she was a massive grasshopper attacking.
They began to throw bottles and glasses at her in fright.
However soon after guests were in horror as they realised it was actually Nadine.
A source says, "Guests had a massive fright as Nadine walked in. Because she has been living on nothing but seaweed and tea for the last couple of weeks she looked just like a stick insect."
However Nadine does not seem bothered about the matter as she was spoke to about the incident in hospital. She went on to say, "to be fair I think my diet is coming on grand. My legs may look like toothpicks but I know my boyfriend likes them like this."
