Mutya Buena has slammed her former Sugababes bandmate Heidi Range, claiming she has "killed off the group".
In an interview with Loose Women, Buena said "I don't have anything to do with her at all. I stand by what I said at the time Keisha left. I think she's a snake. Yeah, she's a pretty girl, but that's about it. The thing about her is she doesn't say much. You never know what she is really thinking."
When asked about the future of the group, Buena replied "Sugababes went away last year. These three girls are not what we thought our group would be like when we started and thats that. I don't care that Heidi has been in the group for 9 years. She still isn't an original member."
Panellist Coleen Nolan however stuck up for Range saying "I respect your views, and you know I am a huge fan of yours, but Heidi is one of the nicest people I've met. Do you not think that if you hadn't of left the group at such a critical time then Keisha and you would still be in the group" to which Buena simply repied "No" before continuing "I left for my reasons in 5 years ago. I loved the Sugababes but I needed to leave. Keisha was forced out. She loved the Sugababes and she didn't need to leave. She was the most talented person in that line up, by a mile, and now there are three people that claim to be this group with minimum talent and two have history of being complete bitches. Good luck to them because we have a few tricks up our sleeves."
