The never popular and or indeed funny Chuckle Brothers have revealed that they are soon to go into the studio to record the classic songs of the Sixties Soul era.
Barry Chuckle, the taller, more irritating one said: 'It has long been a plan for my brother and I to go into a proper studio, and lay down some tracks. Proper singers have been doing it for years, so we thought we would give it a go, after all, we have been doing what proper comedians have been doing for decades, and no one has stopped us yet'.
It is thought that such songs as 'Soul Man' 'You to me, to me to you are everything' 'Green Onions (Comedy ladders and buckets on the floor, with a loose banana skin remix) 'Knock on wood (with your head) 'He ain't heavy, he's my brother, falling of a ladder', 'Midnight Hour' and 'Soul Man' will all feature.
Barry Chuckle told us: 'I want to sound like Barry White, but I will always be me, now where did I leave Sid Little?'
The story reaches us at the same time that it is revealed that Ronan Keating and Chris DeBurgh are to play parts in Family Guy, and Hannah Montana, respectively.
