CBS Films, having released only two films that did not do very well, will only release one more this year so that will delay "Beastly" until 2011.
The romantic fantasy will be replaced by a similar-themed "Charlie St. Cloud" with Zac Efron on July 30th.
"Beastly" stars Vanessa Hudgens, Efron's girlfriend and fellow alum of the "High School Musical" feature series. It also co-stars Adrienne Bailon. You may not remember but Vanessa Hudgens was fired from "High School Musical" because of having nude pics of her show up on the internet.
Then, nude pics of her replacement, Adrienne Bailon, began to show up on the net also. Seems like both these young ladies cannot keep their clothes on.
Perhaps that's why both were cast for roles in "Beastly".
Sorry, you'll have to wait until next year to see what happens in the movie. That is, unless some pics show up again on the net.
"Beastly" involves an egotistical young man who is cast under a spell and has a year to find the right young woman to love. "St. Cloud" revolves around a young man torn between a lasting bond with his dead brother and feelings for the girl he loves.
In both movies, everyone will appear nude!
