Selena Gomez Takes Over The Crown

It's amazing what can be achieved by keeping your head down, working hard, learning from the experiences of others, and not getting so far up yourself that you lose all sense of perspective, not to mention your grip on reality.

Which seems to be exactly what Miley Cyrus did, and exactly what Texan girl Selena Gomez did not do.

The teen take on all this is that Miley is so last month, because she let it all go to her head and got way too big for her boots.

Whereas Selena kept on plugging away at the day job, playing the part of Alex Russo in The Witches Of Waverly Place and playing with her band Selena Gomez and The Scene.

So now, as Miley struts and pouts and generally alienates the people who try to help her, Selena is carving out a very successful and highly lucrative music career and working hard at perfecting her chosen craft of acting.

All hail the New Queen - Who was the Old Queen again?

As much as Miley might hate it, and despite what she might have to say about it, the kids votes have been counted, and 17 year old Selena from Grand Prairie Texas wins hands down.

Which proves that maybe today's kids are a lot smarter than we ever gave them credit for.

Footnote: One of the priveleges of being a teen queen, as Selena will shortly discover, is that you get Spoofed all the way to hell and back. Miley's Spoof tags and Gallery pictures are waiting for her at the front desk. And hey, Miley, don't let the doorknob poke you in the ass on your way out.

More as we get it.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
