After two years of investigation it has now been revealed that the top ITV act of Ant and Dec are gradually morphing into 70's and 80's comedians Morecambe and Wise. Scientists at the University College London have now finished their studies and have come up with the result.

Ant and Dec real names Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly started their television careers in the children's series Byker Grove and through the years have worked up to being one of ITV's biggest duo culminating in the hit Saturday Night series Push the Button.

Morecambe and Wise were the biggest stars of the 70's and 80's for the BBC and regularly got audiences of 26 million for their Christmas Specials.

Prof Pat Pending from the UCL said that they have noticed the duo are now beginning to wear collar and ties just like the 70's and 80's icons and are also doing the funny dance Morecambe and Wise used to do.

Within 4 years they will have completely morphed in to Morecambe and Wise. Ant is already losing his hair and wearing glasses.

We will wait and see.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
